What is this game about? How would you describe it to a friend?
The Worlds Hardest Game is just that, hard. Players have to move their red square to the exit without being killed by the blue squares, and collect the yellow dot as well. It is very simple with easy instructions and basic graphics, however it is incredibly difficult. That is one of the reasons it is so fun.
What’s fun about it?
The challenge the game presents makes it very fun. It is hard to pass even the first level, which is uncommon for many computer games. It is fun to play a game that tests your ability to detect the patterns in the blue squares, while trying to coordinate that with moving the red square.
In what ways do you think it made you smarter and how did it accomplish that?
The game made me look at the whole picture. You have to recognize the patterns before you attempt to move. I think that this probably helped my planning skills, and how I go after solving a problem.
Be honest and rate it – 1 for B O R I N G through 5 for highly addictive.
I would rate this game a 3 because it is both boring and addictive. It is very frustrating when you cannot pass the basic levels, and that makes it a little repetitive and boring. However it is that frustration that makes you keep wanting to play.
What would you change to make this game more appealing to girls?
I think I would change the appearance, and make it more visually appealing. I think the game is good because it is very basic, but it does look a little rough. If this was changed I think more girls would play.
